Rubies Technologies

The desire to create Rubies Technologies was born from her personal experience. She had to go out of her way to enrich herself with the knowledge of technology. She was not privileged to know about computer programs at her young age. So, Rubies Technologies was founded in the year 2017, on June 15th by visiting three schools in Akure, Ondo State, to teach the kids scratch programming for free. That led to the creation of the organisation that empowers kids and teenagers with digital skills to help create ideas and build solutions with various technologies. The following are the highlights of our achievements over the years:.

• Raised up to 5 million Naira through partnerships and grants to teach over 2000 kids computer programming over six years.
• create, customize, and create course content and training materials.
• It impacted over 2000 kids in four states in Nigeria 
• A team of over 30 empowers kids and teenagers with digital and technological skills. 
• Winning grant proposals that secure sponsorship from 3 companies
• Effectively managing a team of over 20 employees, excluding volunteers, including full-time employees and contract workers.
  
• Started the Rubies Code School, a virtual coding school that teaches kids and teenagers how to code and have impacted close to 1000 of them.
